US Unlocked Galaxy S7 & S7 edge August Security Patch Update (UEU2APG9)

The unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will get an OTA update that brings the August security patches. You might have been noticed that this particular variant has not been receiving the monthly security maintenance release for about two months. The last security patch level of the two devices was on May 1, 2016, so this update will technically covers June, July and August security fixes. Aside from. How to update the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge via Over-The-Air:

  • Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.
  1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for Updates.
