Sprint Galaxy S7 Android Nougat Update to version G930PVPU4BQAA Rolling Out

Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge official Android 7.0 Nougat updates has finally arrived! Among the US carriers, it was AT&T and T-Mobile recently made the first roll out and now it's time for Sprint Galaxy S7 and S7 edge owners to get the same Nougat treatment.

Moreover, this aren't still part of the Galaxy beta program that have been releasing the Nougat beta way back in December, but it's an official public release.

  • Ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update. This is a must and very important part to get rid of some issues if ever the software update being interrupted due to a power failure.
  1. From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for Updates.
  2. If your device finds a new software update, tap Download now. When complete, a screen will appear advising you that the new version of software is ready to be installed. Tap Install update.
  3. The device will power down and power back on. A screen will appear stating that the installation has been completed. Tap OK.
  4. You’ve successfully updated your Galaxy S7 Android OS.
