Verizon Pushed One Talk Support and April 2017 Security Updates on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Verizon Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are now getting an update that apparently brings Verizon One Talk support features and applies the April  1, 2017 Android security patch level.  It also includes an update for the Amazon app that has bumped the version to (v 8.1.1).

The update came out as version NRD90M. G930VVRU4BQC5 for Galaxy S7 (SM-G930V) and NRD90M. G935VVRU4BQC5 for Galaxy S7 edge (SM-G935V). For the record, this released are now the 3rd Android 7.0 Nougat updates landed on both devices.

  • This software update provides the latest enhancements for Enterprise customers.
  • The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge now supports One Talk, connecting your office and mobile devices with one number.
  • Amazon Shopping (version 8.1.1)

Again, the rolling out is in stages, but it is now seeding via Over-The-Air OTA update and  Wi-Fi Exclusive Update. You may check the update by hitting your device Settings > About Phone > Check for an Update.
